Confiserie Mutter GmbH & Co. KG produces brittle specialities in all variations for confectioners, pastry chefs, patisseries and chocolatiers around the world. Our products stand out due to the highest level of quality and are the best on the market. Founder Bernhard Mutter underwent training in Rheinfelden (Baden, Germany). Over several years, he gained experience in international companies and opened Confiserie Mutter in 1971 with his wife Helga. The current production facilities were created in 1991 and have been continually expanded. In the process, they are always optimised with regard to the latest requirements on international hygiene standards and quality assurance. His son Rafael Mutter also completed training as a pastry chef and opened a confectionery called Confiserie Rafael Mutter in the centre of Freiburg in 2005 following various internships with renowned chocolatiers.
As part of the succession regulation, both companies merged in 2012 to form today’s Confiserie Mutter GmbH & Co KG. Bernhard and Rafael Mutter and their 45 employees are a typical German SME: – an owner-operated handicraft business with a long-term strategic orientation, – with regional links yet a global orientation, – bound by tradition but is nevertheless innovative, – demands the utmost quality from itself and always focuses on customer needs.
